About the Exhibit:
From September 22 – October 14, experience Ouroboros, an immersive group exhibit, featuring the work of Ellen Bleiwas, Emily DiCarlo, Gunilla Josephson, Adrienne Trent and Marian Wihak in the unconventional art exhibition space of St. Anne’s Anglican Church in Toronto. Presenting a range of installations, site-specific sculptures, and multi-channel video projects, Ouroboros focuses on themes of cyclical time, the weight of history, and the connecting power of memory. Visitors are invited to explore the historic site and its sculptural responses – a collision of contemporary art and Byzantine Revival architecture.
